Associate Professor RoseAnne Misajon joined the academic team at the Cairnmillar Institute in 2017. Prior to that, she worked as a Research Fellow at the Centre for Eye Research Australia (University of Melbourne) and the Key Centre for Women’s Health (University of Melbourne), and as a Senior Lecturer at Monash University.  RoseAnne completed her PhD in Psychology at Deakin University, and is a registered psychologist.

Research Interests

Her research focuses on the understanding of wellbeing among disadvantaged and marginalised communities across different cultural settings, particularly working with people with a chronic health condition or disability, as well as migrant and refugee communities. Her key research interests include subjective wellbeing, health-related quality of life, psychometrics and scale development, experiences of prejudice, social inclusion and culturally diverse populations.
