When our students graduate from Cairnmillar, lots of feelings of accomplishment will fill the air along with decorated caps and tassels to celebrate the momentous occasion. This day is all about recognising the hard work our students put in, as well as welcoming them to a new world of opportunities.

2023 Cairnmillar Graduation

The date has been set for our 2023 Graduation! Save the date: Thursday 4 May 2023 

The May 2023 ceremony and conferral is for all students who completed a qualification between 1 April 2022 to 30 March 2023 unless they have already graduated by Special Conferral (Early Graduation). 

All graduands must apply to graduate even if they are not attending the ceremony. 

Graduation Ceremony Information 

Applications for the 2023 Cairnmillar Graduation Ceremony are open on Thursday 1 December 2022 and the last date you can apply is Sunday 12 March 2023.  

The May 2023 Graduation Ceremony will be held at The Centre in Ivanhoe on Thursday 4 May 2023.

The last date to apply to graduate is the 12 March 2023. No late applications will be accepted. 

Important note: Students who have applied for graduation, but do not complete their course requirements before the graduation date, must apply again to become re-eligible for the next graduation date. 

 

Graduation Options and Costs 

Attending Graduation Ceremony   Thursday 4th May 2023		$220.00  Includes 2x free guest tickets  Includes Academic Dress (Regalia) hire provided by Cairnmillar Additional guest tickets can be purchased for $70.00 per ticket.
In Absentia - Posted Out  (Not attending a graduation ceremony; Testamur and transcript mailed to you via registered post)		$60.00   Fee includes handling and postage.  Note: will be posted to you in late May 2023
In Absentia - Collected from Campus  (Not attending a graduation ceremony; Testamur and transcript can be collected from Hawthorn Campus)		Free  Must be collected after the graduation date and no later than one month after notice of availability is given
Please Note: costs are already significantly subsidized to below cost. No further discounts or reductions are possible for graduation fees or ticket prices.    Cairnmillar makes arrangements for the Academic Dress (Regalia) hire for each eligible candidate.
