About/Background

Professor Jonathan Mason has a PhD in Applied Psychology of Disability (University of Kent) and a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (UCL, London). He has worked as a clinical psychologist for the past 20 years, including undertaking senior clinical roles in secure mental health services, community services and the university sector. His clinical and research interests include working with sexual and violent offenders, people with intellectual disabilities, and the families of people with disabilities and severely challenging behaviour.
