Professional Practice and Professional Ethics (CLN503)

This unit has as its focus the knowledge, competencies and skills required to practice as a provisional and clinical psychologist within the designated professional ethical, legal and professional and ethical standards as set down by the profession. The unit requires the student to undertake a critical examination of case studies of professional situations and ethical dilemmas in contemporary psychological practice. Students are taught the personal and professional competencies and attributes required to practice ethically and legally as a clinical psychologist.
