Can I re-use old referee reports?

Referee report submission is done using an online reference request system. Please refer to the admission criteria of the course you are applying for, to see if and how many references are required.

You will still need to have an active account and may need to login to www.psychologyreference.org and ‘share’ the reports with the Cairnmillar Institute again before we will be able to see them.

NOTE: please be aware however that www.psychologyreference.org do sometimes clean their database and delete old or expired reports. If the reports have been deleted then you will need to re-request reports from the same or new referees.

Applicants submitting references will be required to use the online HODSPA reference system. A guide to the service can be found here.

Please note: This system is the same across all Australian Universities. To be able to use the system, you will need to have an active subscription. The subscription allows you access the service during the 2021 – 2022 intake from the 1^st of August 2021 to 30^th July 2022. The cost is $25.00 and can be paid for through the "My Account" section in the payment tab of the HODSPA reference system.
